6 Things That Make Attractive Women Less Attractive to Men

If a man is attracted to you, there is no reason why he wouldn't step up to you and ask for your number right?  Wrong!  It's true that men are visual creatures and they will overlook quite a lot for a hot face or bod, but there are exceptions.  I've thought about typical reasons why a man may pass on a physically attractive woman, and choose her not-as-attractive friend. 


1) SMOKING
Unless he is a puffer too, most men find women who smoke very unattractive. Number one, nobody likes cig breath, and two you, your clothes and your hair all smell like smoke. Take it from me, kissing a smoker is not fun.


2) KIDS
First let me say THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HAVING KIDS and if you’re like me, you’ve faced the fact that most men who you date will have at least 1 child. Even with this said, men do often discriminate against women with kids. This is most common if you have several of them, and more so by different men. If you’re a woman who has ever dated a man with several “baby mamas,” you understand why. DRAMA


3) TOO INDEPENDENT
There is nothing wrong with having your “own.” Take it from Destiny’s Child & Webbie who started the whole independent craze. I myself am guilty of this at times. A guy can look at me wrong on a date and I swear we are going dutch!! lol. Now I’m not saying for you to get all needy on a brotha; calling him 10 times a day, expecting him to pay all of your bills, etc. Just don’t come with that “I don’t need ya” attitude. A man needs to feel needed.  Bottom line, if you don’t make him feel it, he will easily find someone who does.


4) PARTY/DRINKING HEAVILY
Heavy partying and drinking is an easy one. First, too much of this will eventually take a toll on anybodies looks and appearance.  Second, if you are partying it up too much, it’s likely that you are doing things you wouldn’t normally do. Third, you probably don’t always remember everything you are doing and it's easy to embarrass yourself and others when you don't have total control of your actions.  No man wants to go into a situation where he is frequently embarrassed by his drunken boo.


5) LOUD/FOUL LANGUAGE
A woman who is too loud spells trouble to a lot of men. If I was in his head, I can almost guarantee when you're standing there extra loud talking on that cellphone, he’s thinking, “One of them,” and them translates to…GHETTO. Put both loud talking and cursing together, and it can really get out of hand. The occasional curse word is fine.  Most people blurt out one from time to time, but a certified potty mouth…no. Most men find women who “cuss” like a sailor very unladylike, so if you’re one of those “every other sentence cursers,” tone it down.


6) INSECURE
Insecurity is a huge turn-off. No man wants to have to tell you 20 times that you look beautiful, just for you not to believe him. Plus it takes away from your sex appeal as a woman. Men are intrigued by a woman who knows she is sexy or pretty or whatever. So next time you look in the mirror and think your nose could be smaller, or your butt could be bigger, think about it...could be worse.
